Experience

Graeme began his investment management career in 1996, joining Smith & Williamson ten years later as a founding director of the Glasgow office. He believes in the traditional stockbroking approach and responding to the challenges of modern markets.
He places a great deal of importance in understanding client requirements and working closely with them directly, or in conjunction with their other professional advisers. He acts for private investors, pension funds, trusts and charities on both a discretionary and non-discretionary basis.

  • Managing investments for different generations of families with long-term preservation of wealth in mind.
  • Managing charity clients’ income requirements and maintaining close relationships with trustees.
  • Arranging AIM portfolios for inheritance tax (IHT) mitigation.
  • Guiding clients on alternative strategies to earn a return without exposure to equity markets.
