We are aware of fraudsters impersonating Smith & Williamson and using our name for potential fraudulent activities. We can confirm that the email address “info@smithandwilliamsonltd[.]co[.]uk” is not a Smith & Williamson address. This appears to be a fraudulent attempt to dupe investors using our name. The Financial Conduct Authority(FCA) is also aware of this issue.
We are also aware that fraudsters may be using the domain “smithswilliamson[.]com” to try and defraud the public. We confirm this domain is not a Smith & Williamson one, and emails received from any addresses using this domain are not coming from Smith & Williamson.
We urge any potential investors to exercise extreme caution. Stay alert to the dangers of investment fraud, even if documents or websites appear legitimate and refer to genuine products. Smith & Williamson can take no responsibility for any potential losses you may incur.
