Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Smith & Williamson (S&W) Belfast Charity Conference was held as a virtual event this year. Our conference was held as two webinars.

We were delighted to welcome Nora Smith, Chief Executive of CO3 who discussed what financial resilience looks like in the charities sector, David Babington, Chief Executive of Action Mental Health who talked about how he steered his charity through the pandemic and what lessons can be learned and Frances McCandless, Chief Executive of the Charity Commission NI who gave us an update from the Charity Commission.

We were also joined by a number of speakers from S&W including Jessica Pearson and Kate Capocci both Investment Managers, who discussed the growing importance of ethical considerations within the investment process as well as Daniel Casali, Chief Investment Strategist who gave us a market update.

Who should attend?

Trustees and senior executives from charities.
