Cunningham Coates would like to invite you to our flagship Belfast Charity Conference, taking place on Tuesday 22 October 2019 at the Ulster Museum, Belfast.
Our conference this year will focus on current issues faced by Trustees and charities, in the fields of law, accounting and investment.
We are privileged to have BBC Radio Ulster's Seamus McKee as compere for this event and we welcome Jenny Ebbage, Partner at Edwards & Co Solicitors who will give an update on charity law for trustees and the Trustees Annual Report, and Dr Rosemary Peters Gallagher OBE from Moore Stephens, who will discuss current accounting and tax matters, including treatment of VAT for charities. Frances McCandless, CEO of the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland, will be our keynote speaker and will discuss the latest issue in charity regulation.
We will also be joined by Nick Murphy, Head of Charities, and Daniel Casali, Chief Strategist, from our London Office. They will be discussing the importance of responsible investing and the current global economic outlook respectively. The full agenda can be seen below.
I would encourage you and your fellow trustees to come along to what promises to be a very worthwhile event, to hear the views of some of Northern Irelands leading practitioners in their fields.
