We are delighted to invite you to our second Lunchtime Charity Trustee Training event, providing trustees with the opportunity to learn more about investments.
This session will cover investment strategy against a background of rising inflation.

We are delighted to be joined by renowned strategist, financial markets historian and keeper of The Library of Mistakes Russell Napier who will be talking about ‘The history of financial repression – how governments take money from charities’.

Additionally, attendees will hear from Daniel Casali, Investment Strategist at Smith & Williamson, on the outlook for inflation.

Finally, we will address the topic ‘Sometimes taking no risk is the biggest risk’ – are you holding too much cash?

The event will be hosted by Keith Burdon, Head of Charities Scotland & NI.

The session will finish with a moderated Q&A session.

The event will be facilitated by Zoom. There will be no charge for this training event and attendance will qualify for 75 minutes of CPD (certificate of attendance by request).
