Smith & Williamson's inaugural Responsible Investment Conference took place on Tuesday 8 December and held in 2 parts.
We welcomed Mike Azlen, Founder and CEO of Carbon-Cap and climate change ambassador, who discussed the impact of climate change and investing in carbon as an emerging asset class and Louie French, Sustainable Portfolio Manager at Tilney, who talked about how to assess and choose sustainable funds for your portfolio.
Additionally up and coming in-house talent, Phillipa Douglas, Responsible Investment Analyst and Trainee Investment Manager at Smith & Williamson covered the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and their uses in investment. The event was hosted and introduced by Kate Capocci, Lead ESG Expert and Investment Manager at Smith & Williamson.
