Smith & Williamson invites you to our first Zoom for Thought interactive debate, aimed at professionals with an interest in business advisory, support and restructuring.
With winter rapidly approaching and the announcement of a national lockdown across England as well as other lockdown restrictions in other parts of the UK, a seemingly higher risk of a no-deal Brexit suggests our people, our businesses and our economy are likely to face difficult times.
Increases in Covid-19 infection rates are leading to tighter restrictions for sectors already hit hard by the first lockdown. Those who trade with these sectors will likely be concerned about volumes and volatility in addition to the credit risk on supplies already made. Current restrictions on enforcement will not last forever and when lifted there will be even more pressure on cash and management.
Adversity can also provide opportunities. For those most able to adapt there may be longer term benefits.
Join us to explore the good, the bad and the uncertain of what Winter 2020/21 means for UK businesses.
Please RSVP by Friday 20th November.
