Sun and smiles are all you need this summer in Salisbury. Our Salisbury office has sponsored a local campaign to boost community spirit and bring some fun into the city.
We have joined up with local radio station Spire FM to support their campaign “Salisbury Summer of Selfies” which has been launched this week [06/08/2019] on Spire FM.
The campaign will run for six weeks and is part of a feel good summer campaign with the Wiltshire Council recovery team to try to boost spirits and encourage local business in Salisbury and the surrounding areas.
How to enter
Lead by Martin Starke, Breakast Show Presenter, the Spire FM team will be out on the streets three times a week in Salisbury and local towns Amesbury and Wilton, with a Smith & Williamson branded selfie frame trying to get as many selfies taken as possible of local passers-by. Each person who has their photo taken is in with a chance of winning a share of £500. A winner will be announced each week on Friday morning on the radio and the lucky individual has until 5pm to claim their prize before it rolls over to the next week.
Where to find your picture
A gallery of all the selfies are on display on the Spire FM website which is updated daily, as well as some on their Facebook and Twitter pages. Listen out on the Spire FM breakfast show at 8:25 daily to find out where the team will be that day taking selfies in the city.
Lisa Ball, managing partner at Smith & Williamson Salisbury “The campaign has already been very successful during its first week [with 176 selfies taken so far]. It is playing a great role in boosting community spirit over the summer holidays in Salisbury.”
