Adam Stephens, charities specialist at Smith & Williamson LLP, has been appointed Interim Manager to The Rav Chesed Trust.
Adam was appointed by the Charity Commission as part of the regulator’s inquiry into the charity, which began in July 2015.
The Commission’s inquiry is examining the administration and financial management of the charity and whether the charity’s funds have been put at risk. The statement is available here.
“I will be taking over the general administration and management of the charity while securing the charity’s property. I will be working to conclude my role in the best interests of the charity and its stakeholders,” said Adam Stephens.
Adam (as part of Smith & Williamson LLP) is on the approved list for the Charity Commission’s Interim Managers and was appointed on 24 February 2017.
Adam is currently the lead administrator of 4 Children, successfully protecting nursery services to thousands of children and saving over one thousand jobs through the transfer of those services to several other charities. Amongst a wide variety of not-for-profit assignments, he has also been administrator of the British Association for Adoption and Fostering.
