Smith & Williamson’s Restructuring and Recovery Services team celebrated a double success at the annual Turnaround, Restructuring & Insolvency (TRI) Awards 2019 on Wednesday 13 November.
The National Restructuring & Recovery team won ‘Corporate Restructuring Firm of the Year’ in a category for firms with 11 or more licensed appointment-taking Insolvency Practitioners (IPs). In addition, Adam Stephens made it a double success by winning in the ‘Corporate Restructuring IP of the Year’ category.
The annual industry awards, held at the Hilton London Bankside, celebrate the range, variety and best practice of work undertaken by professionals in the TRI space, both as firms and individually.
Judges were keen to praise Adam and our wider National Restructuring & Recovery team, explaining: “Smith & Williamson is clearly winning the larger, more complex cases and carving out niches in a number of areas, such as financial services and the special administration regime. The firm is heightening its presence in the market [and] delivering great results across the board.”
“Adam Stephens is an exceptional IP. His entry showed three very good cases, pro bono work, great representation of his profession and a series of excellent testimonials. He is a very dedicated practitioner.”
