Business turnaround specialist Tim Sloggett has joined financial and professional services firm Smith & Williamson LLP as a partner in its Bristol-based restructuring and recovery services (RRS) team.
Tim joins from Big Four firm KPMG, where he worked with clients to deliver turnarounds, refinancing, accelerated business sales and formal restructuring processes. Tim has experience working with local owner-managed businesses through to large corporate global listed corporates, across a wide range of sectors.
He also has valuable banking experience, having worked at Barclays, where he provided funding and strategic support to a range of SMEs facing challenges to deliver turnarounds.
“We are currently expanding our restructuring and recovery team as well as that of our advisory consultancy business and therefore we are delighted to welcome Tim onboard. His experience and knowledge will allow him to work in both capacities to continue to provide first class advice as required by our clients,” said Greg Palfrey, partner and national head of restructuring and recovery at Smith & Williamson LLP.
