The financial and professional services group was one of only a handful of organisations to receive an award based on feedback from clients. Smith & Williamson receives client introductions from Find A Wealth Manager and the way investment managers and financial planners respond to queries is carefully recorded. Having matched thousands of investors with institutions since its 2012 launch, Find A Wealth Manager has detailed insights on service standards. Drawing together extensive client feedback and proprietary performance data, its People’s Choice Awards stand apart for representing the voice of high net worth individuals themselves.

Winners of the People’s Choice Awards have exceled in areas like client-adviser matching, speedy on-boarding processes and communications, while delivering exceptional service standards throughout relationships.

Peter Fernandes, head of private clients at Smith & Williamson, said: “We are very pleased by this recognition. We regularly receive industry awards in recognition of our work but this accolade from Find A Wealth Manager is particularly important for us as the nominations were based directly on client feedback. The award recognises the quality of advice our investment managers and financial planners provide to clients introduced by Find A Wealth Manager.”

Lee Goggin, co-founder of Find A Wealth Manager added: “Awards can tend to be quite industry focused, so we’re pleased to be putting the onus back on those who matter most – the clients.”
