The South Coast office of Smith & Williamson, the accountancy, investment management and tax group, has named the Rainbow Centre as its charity of the year.
The Rainbow Centre, which is based in Fareham, supports children with Cerebral Palsy and adults with strokes, MS, Parkinson’s, Cerebral Palsy and head injuries, as also well as those who care for them.
Through a system of learning called Conductive Education, The Rainbow Centre encourages and teaches participants to take an active role in their own development, enabling them to reach their full potential in all aspects of their lives.
Andrew Edmonds, head of Smith & Williamson’s South Coast office in Southampton said: “The Rainbow Centre is a locally-based charity that helps people from five counties in central southern England and we are delighted to be supporting such a worthy cause. We look forward to working with the organisation to help it raise funds and engage our people to provide other forms of support.”
Sarah Hudson, corporate fundraiser at The Rainbow Centre added: “It’s wonderful to have the support of Smith & Williamson.
