Experience
Annabel has been managing mainly discretionary portfolios for private clients, charities, trusts, pension funds and corporates for well over 30 years. Following a 13-year career in London, during which she became a director of Allied Provincial and then Greig Middleton, Annabel moved to Northern Ireland and joined Smith & Williamson in 1997.
On behalf of her private clients, families and charities she is responsible for devising investment strategies in order to help achieve their financial goals. This requires a commitment to long-held client relationships in order to understand their objectives, while balancing the need to protect assets and mitigate risk. She has a strong track record of family wealth management and extensive experience of managing charitable funds of up to £50million.
She became an associate director in 1998 and was appointed as a director in 2004 and subsequently a partner in 2013.
Professional qualifications/memberships
Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI), degree in economics and geography from Exeter University.
Former president of the Northern Ireland branch of the CISI.
