Experience

Chris advises on all areas of pensions and mainstream employee benefits, including pension aspects of corporate transactions, mitigating funding deficits and scheme restructuring to minimise financial impact. He also handles the design and implementation of auto-enrolment solutions, including written material and live presentations to employees.

Chris helps trustees to fulfil their duties as adviser or co trustee and chairs a governance advisory arrangement committee for a pension provider.
He wrote the original pension section of Tolley’s Finance and Law for the Older Client.

  • Saved £800k of liabilities through an enhanced transfer value exercise.
  • Enabled redistribution of pension liabilities to facilitate exit of a group company.
  • Delivered major communications projects and managed consultation processes in the private and third sectors.
  • Helped many employees in various occupations to properly understand their pension arrangements, and managed auto-enrolment projects.
