Experience

Helen has over 25 years of experience dealing with the tax affairs of private clients and owner-managed businesses. Much of her work is with business owners, advising on many aspects of the running, realisation and inheritance planning for businesses.
Many of Helen's clients are property investors and developers, so she has particular experience in structuring property development ventures and the tax issues on property disposals. She also acts for nom-doms and is very familiar with the issues they face.

Notable achievements

  • Looking after the same family and its property developments and investments for 30 years and advising on the overall tax structures for the family as their needs changed.
  • Advising on succession planning for a landed estate over a 30 year period, across the generations.
  • Guiding a UK resident non-dom through the Liechtenstein Disclosure Facility (LDF) procedure and on a strategy for the future.

Professional qualifications/memberships

Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and a Chartered Tax Adviser.
