Hugo first became involved in investment management in 1998 at the end of his business studies degree. He has worked with the same client base ever since, becoming a Director in 2005 and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) in 2010. He was one of PAM Insight’s Top Forty Under Forty Private Asset Managers in 2014.
As a Partner, he leads a team of nine whose core business is the management of investment portfolios for a range of private clients, pension funds, trusts and charities. Hugo joined the Board of Smith & Williamson Investment Management in December 2016.
Hugo became chair of the firm’s Asset Allocation Committee in 2018.
