Kate joined Smith & Williamson in 2015 as part of the graduate scheme, having finished her degree reading French at the University of St Andrews. She works on a large private client team managing bespoke portfolios for private clients, SIPPs, trusts and charities.

Kate was a co-founder of the S&W Stewardship & Responsible Investment Group and is the lead specialist for sustainability and responsible investments. She has a key role in the integration of Environmental, Social and Governance factors into the group investment process and the client sustainability offering.

Kate is also a direct equities analyst for the Media & Entertainment and Transportation sectors, as well as a fund analyst for responsible collectives.

Kate is a member of the Stewardship & Responsible Investment Group, as well as the Investment Process Committee, the Direct Investment Group and the Collective Investment Group.
