Fiduciary/trust tax experience, private client work typically for UK resident non-domiciled individuals, offshore financial services sector businesses, and clients of those businesses.
Kerry has over 15 years and began her career as a tax executive in an in-house role of a large fiduciary company, moving to one of the ‘Big 4’ in 2004 and qualifying as a UK Chartered Tax Adviser.
Her experience includes advising non-UK domiciled persons and managing large trust projects, including de-enveloping structures, winding-up trust structures and advisory projects from reviewing offshore trust structures to advising on voluntary disclosures under the LDF & JDF.
She has also undertaken fiduciary projects which involved reviewing client files to identify where there are tax issues, outlining recommendations and providing assurance that files are tax compliant.
Previous experience also includes advising a wealth management company on the income segregation rules in relation to UK resident non domiciled individuals.
Notable client work and achievements
Kerry can regularly be found delivering training sessions to fiduciary companies - the latest topic included the new ‘non-dom’ rules.
UK Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), Advanced Diploma in International Tax (ADIT), Association of Tax Technician (ATT) and Trust & Estate Practitioner (TEP).
Member of STEP and she also sits on the Jersey STEP committee undertaking the role of Treasurer.
