Mark’s client base includes entrepreneurs, listed companies, private banks and family offices, assisting many with their tax profile and tax risks.
- Negotiating with HMRC to recover national insurance contributions paid by a company for 50 traders, who were in fact self-employed, not employees.
- Advising on the restructuring of groups to split investment activities from trading businesses, thus enabling ‘clean’ management, eligibility to tax relief and external finance.
- Advising on buy-to-let changes and restructuring portfolios.
