Joining accountancy as a second career after an engineering career in the UK, he quickly qualified through ACCA and became a Director of a Jersey accounting and tax firm. He received his full practicing certificate from ACCA in 2016.
In 2016 Paul became the CFO for a Jersey law firm which then merged three other firms into it between 2016 to 2018. In late 2017, as the Law firm was working efficiently he changed his role to be a Virtual CFO and set up his own Accounting Consultancy firm. After gaining significant traction within the first 12 months, he migrated his clients into Smith & Williamson and became a Director to support the growth of the Jersey firm.
Paul specialises in conceptualising business activities and how companies are able to achieve their goals, through finance, accounting, people, marketing and systems. His approach is very hands on and skills complement the current Jersey clients.
