Experience
Philip heads the transaction services team which advises corporate clients, venture capital firms, banks and family offices. The team provides acquisition financial due diligence, valuations, financial modelling and reporting accountant services to Initial public offering (IPOs) on AIM
He works across a range of sectors including media, technology, financial services, automotive, defence, resources and property providing analysis and advice on the financial aspects of the deal.
His work often involves cross border transactions, working closely with other Nexia International member firms.
Notable achievements
- Performing financial due diligence for overseas companies making acquisitions or investments in the UK and UK companies making acquisitions overseas, notably in the US and Europe.
- Acting as reporting accountant on a number of AIM IPOs for groups with operations in Hong Kong, China and Asia.
- Providing advice on transition to IFRS for companies considering a listing.
Professional qualifications/memberships
Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and holder of the Corporate Finance Qualification (CFQ).
