Simonetta Rigo

Chief Marketing Officer

Simonetta is the Chief Marketing Officer of the Tilney Smith & Williamson group. She is a senior customer-centric and commercial executive with 25+ years’ experience across global cross-border payments, banking, wealth management, health insurance and luxury travel industries. Until recently, she worked at Tesco Bank as Interim Chief Customer Officer and latterly as an adviser to the Chief Executive Officer, having spent a year providing on-demand CMO services to start-up and scale-up businesses. Prior to this, Simonetta was the Senior Vice President for Global Brand, Marketing and Customer Engagement at Western Union and has also held senior leadership positions at BUPA International and American Express. She began her career at consulting firm McKinsey & Co and has served on the Board of the Western Union Foundation and Brewin Dolphin. She is currently Deputy Chair of the Surrey Business School Advisory Board, where she is also a Visiting Professor.
