Susan has over thirty years’ experience working in accountancy and tax with significant experience in dealing with private client families, their trusts and businesses. She has worked at Smith & Williamson for over thirty years and now Head up our Professional Services division and am a member of the firm’s Group Executive Committee. Prior to this she was Head of Regions and based in the Salisbury Office. While her primary role is in the senior management of the firm, she continues to maintain a number of client relationships.
Her expertise is in capital gains tax, inheritance tax (IHT) planning for farming, landed estates and land-based industries. She leads on estates with significant property portfolios, in-hand farms, diversified businesses and trusts as well as advising other estates with smaller property portfolios.
