Trevor has over 30 years’ experience in private client tax, having started out with the Capital Taxes Office. In 1987 he moved to a top ten accountancy practice where he qualified professionally in 1989, before joining Smith & Williamson in 1990.
As well as an 18-month spell working in Smith & Williamson’s Guildford office, Trevor was seconded to the Lloyd’s Equitas project for four months in 1996.
- Assisting a senior tax partner in advising a high-profile ex-pat businessman, in conjunction with three firms of external advisers.
- Acting as co-ordinator between private client tax services (PCTS) and seven other departments in advising Smith & Williamson’s largest Family Client group.
- Invited by a high-net-worth client to work on tax and trust matters in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
