Wilson has specialised in trusts and estates since 1981, acting both as a trustee and adviser.
He has taken part in numerous consultations with UK Government departments on both tax and regulatory issues and is the co-author of the professional guidance issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) to its members acting as trustees. He has also given evidence in court as an expert witness.
- Advising a substantial private charitable trust on its risk management procedures, grant-making and investment policy statements.
- Acting as an expert witness in Pullum v Wilson and others  EWHC 126 (Ch).
