Our banking services are an efficient addition to a full-service portfolio and are available to existing clients only. Your investment manager effectively acts as your ‘bank manager’, giving you access to cash management and payments, foreign exchange, loans and overdrafts. We don’t issue debit or credit cards nor do we provide mortgages. The service is run conservatively and securely, backed by the capital of the Smith & Williamson group.

You will have access to deposit accounts in all major currencies. We also offer competitive foreign exchange services and electronic payments.
Cash requirements can change so it’s important to have access to a service that meets your needs quickly and efficiently. We offer short-term loans and overdrafts to existing clients for a variety of circumstances, from investing in a private company to home financing, bridging loans or probate assistance.
Our banking services are available free of charge to all existing investment management clients and are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA).
